The stationary core directs fluid flow through the isolation block valve with minimal turbulence and impingement during the opening and closing of the valve, making is particularly suited for compressor and pump suction valve applications in which the valve must be slowly opened to load the compressor or pump.

Hemiwedge® Cartridge Isolation Block Valves are available in 2” through 20” NPS and in carbon steel, stainless steel, and other body materials with a variety of hardcoating options for protecting closure members and seats from erosion and wear.
