The Hemiwedge® Cartridge Valve has a unique design ideal for oxygen and chlorine service.  Its stationary core directs fluid flow through the valve with minimal turbulence and impingement during the opening and closing of the valve.  The Hemiwedge® design is significantly different to conventional ball valves in which the ball rotates and directs flow into the seat and sides of the valve. 

The quarter-turn operation provides significantly less emissions than rising stem designs, and a variety of packing options are available to meet the needs of your process.  Oxygen and chlorine compatible seats and seals are selected to complete a trim ideally suited for these services.  If your concern is with improving reliability and increasing safety in chlorine or oxygen service, then Hemiwedge® Cartridge Valves may be the answer.
