The Hemiwedge® Cartridge Valve has a unique design ideal for slurry service.  Its stationary core directs fluid flow through the valve without direct impingement of seats.  This distinctive aspect of the design makes the Hemiwedge® Cartridge Valve uniquely superior to metal-seated ball valves and other valve types for slurries and fluid streams with particulates.

In addition, the cartridge design, which permits easy and quick repair of valve internals, is particularly well-suited for abrasive applications.  The Hemiwedge® Cartridge Valve has been used within the mining industry in services such as brine, salt processing, and smelter dust.

Valves are available in 2” through 20” NPS and in carbon steel, stainless steel, and other body materials with a variety of hardcoating options for internal components subjected to process fluids and particles.
