Hemiwedge Valve Corporation and its strategic alliance supplier, Shumate Energy Technologies, also located in Conroe, boast state-of-the-art machine tools, including:

• Nine CNC horizontal lathes
• Four CNC horizontal machining centers
• Three CNC vertical mills
• A variety of manual machines.

Capabilities
The capabilities include producing both large-diameter products and close-tolerance machined parts using a myriad of materials including:

• Variety of carbon and alloy steels
• High grade stainless steels
• Duplex and Super-duplex stainless steels
• Nickel-based alloys
• Chrome-based alloys

The Hemiwedge Valve plant has approximately 60,000 square feet of floor space, and Shumate Energy Technlogies has approximately 30,000 square feet of floor space, both climate-controlled.  More importantly, both plants are operated by highly skilled machinists and technicians experienced with the manufacture of complex components and assemblies used in critical applications.
